EVENT SUMMARY
Targasonne provided scenic vistas, challenging racing conditions, four successful tasks, and lots of memorable moments. Targasonne is where many young French pilots go to school and learn to fly, and the French used their home field advantage to the fullest, grabbing all three of the overall podium positions, with Maxime Pinot coming out on top.
For the women, against a very strong field, newcomer Daphnee Leropoli won a task in her very first World Cup competition and Violeta Jimenez racked up her second competition win of the 2023 season.
The team competition was a back and forth battle between Ozone and Flying Tree Environmental Agency, with Flying Tree coming out on top for their first team competition win.
Across the four tasks pilots flew over 338km at an average speed of 36.5kph, with reported top speeds of over 105kph.
Next up, on Sept 9th the World Cup travels back to Pico do Gaviao, Brazil, the site of several successful PWC competitions.

- Saturday 2nd September Prize ceremony at 19.00 pm

Until July 12th : Your paid entry fee will be fully refunded less the minimum administrative fee : 300-20 = 280โฌ
Any cancellation from July 13th to August 10th will be refunded 50% (150โฌ)
Any cancellation after August 11th won’t be refunded unless special circumstances out of your control to be demonstrated.
The PWCA membership fee is not refundable.
