Pedavena, situated in the Veneto region of Italy, is a renown paragliding site situated between the Dolomites and Bassano.
The primary take-off site is located atop Monte Avena at about 1400 m.a.s.l. where it’s possible to fly with wind coming from all directions except northerly.
Typically the wind is dominated by the valley flow coming from the east.
Thermal conditions peak around noon where you can fly from peak to peak spanning the whole Val Belluna.
The landing area is at 350 m.a.s.l. but it’s possible to land safely everywhere in the valley.
