The final task was a tricky one, beginning with the challenge of staying below the altitude limit and ending with a thrilling finish in weak conditions. As the day progressed, some pilots fell short, landing just before goal, adding to the suspense.

Overall, the competition showcased a wide range of flying styles, from full-speed ridge racing to technical survival challenges. In this decisive last task, Julien Wirtz managed to overtake Baptiste Lambert, securing the overall win and relegating Baptiste to second place. Luc Armant claimed third place, rounding out the podium.

With half of their team on the podium, Ozone secured the Team win on their testing home terrain. In the women’s category, Elisabeth Egger emerged as the winner, followed by Keiko Hiraki in second and XiaoYa Xie in third.
