Rampa do Monjolo – Baixo Guandu – Espirito Santo – Brasil

The venue offers a unique experience for competitors, combining different types of terrain along the route. Pilots will face flights over rocky valleys, open plains and the Rio Doce , which brings a special dynamism to the race, requiring skill and strategy in every decision. The average distance of the races is between 60 and 100 km , depending on the conditions of the day, guaranteeing technical challenges and exciting flights.

Takeoff takes place at the Monjolo ramp , a large structure well prepared to receive pilots. The location allows for the simultaneous takeoff of about five paragliders , optimizing the flow during the competitions. In addition, the area offers excellent infrastructure with food, drinks, bathrooms, tents and shaded areas , ensuring comfort for competitors while they prepare their equipment.

With an average annual temperature of approximately 24°C , Baixo Guandu provides favorable conditions for flying for much of the year. The cloud ceiling varies, on average, between 1,500 and 2,500 meters , allowing long and technical flights.
